Welcome to Year Three

 

 

We are enjoying being Juniors! We now play in a bigger playground and have a great activity trail. We are working hard at our handwriting because we want to write with a pen!

 

 

 

In Year Three we have so far been learning about Monsters! During the Summer holiday we read 'The Iron Man' by Ted Hughes and have based a lot of our learning around this character. We have designed and made Iron Men and Moving Monsters. We have written Monster poems and are filming Monster animations! We have also been creating Monster dances with a partner.

During the next few months we will be finding out about Ancient Egypt and the Curse of Tutankhamun's Tomb! To help us we will be visiting Bristol Museum to find out about life  in Ancient Egypt.
