We have a great time in Year 1 and 2 and enjoy many activities

that make learning fun!

During the year we learn all sorts of new things such as:

·        How to sew and make a puppet

·        Why we have fireworks on November 5^th

·        Planting seeds and watching them grow

·        Learning to mix colours and paint with them

·        How to follow a recipe and cook delicious cakes

·        How to make a book with moving pictures

·        Where different countries are in the world

·        Why we celebrate different festivals

·        Playing musical instruments and singing new songs

We also have special things we do every week!

v    We have music playing as we come into the classroom.

v    We have a 'busy bee' who is chosen each day to help with all the jobs such as sharing our fruit or leading the line.

v    We have a special birthday bear who sings to us on our birthday!

We like being infants and learning lots every day!
